TrimBlades — Blade Details

All 19 legendary blades and their abilities, effects, and crafting recipes.


Crafting

All TrimBlades are crafted in the Smithing Table using the same recipe format:

[Armor Trim Template] + [Diamond Sword] + [Netherite Ingot]

Each blade uses its corresponding armor trim smithing template (e.g., Ward Blade uses Ward Armor Trim Smithing Template). The Dragon Egg Blade uses a Dragon Egg instead of a trim template.


Passive Effects

Several blades grant passive buffs while held in the main hand:

Ward Blade

  • Type: Duelist
  • Ability: Sonic Boom — Shoot a warden-style sonic boom beam (ray-traced, armor-piercing)
  • Effect: Direct line damage that bypasses armor
  • Visual: SONIC_BOOM and SCULK_SOUL particles
  • Sound: Warden sonic boom charge and impact
  • Crafting: Ward Armor Trim + Diamond Sword + Netherite Ingot
  • Stats: Damage 8.0 | Range 16 | Cooldown 45s

Coast Blade

  • Type: Initiator
  • Ability: Riptide Dash — Launch forward with trident-like riptide power
  • Condition: Must be in water or rain to activate
  • Effect: Rapid forward movement with water visuals
  • Visual: SPLASH, BUBBLE, and DOLPHIN particles
  • Sound: Trident riptide sound
  • Crafting: Coast Armor Trim + Diamond Sword + Netherite Ingot
  • Stats: Power 2.5 | Range 15 | Cooldown 30s

Raiser Blade

  • Type: Initiator
  • Ability: Dash Strike / Lightning Strike — Forward dash damaging all entities in path
  • Effect: Gap-closing burst with electric damage
  • Visual: ELECTRIC_SPARK, FIREWORK, FLASH, END_ROD, CRIT particles
  • Sound: Lightning bolt thunder and phantom flap
  • Crafting: Raiser Armor Trim + Diamond Sword + Netherite Ingot
  • Stats: Damage 6.0 | Range 10 | Cooldown 20s

Wayfinder Blade

  • Type: Support
  • Ability: Player Tracker — Track the nearest player with compass particles and distance display
  • Effect: Reveals nearest player's direction and distance
  • Visual: HAPPY_VILLAGER, END_ROD, ENCHANT particles forming compass trail
  • Sound: Lodestone place and note block pling
  • Crafting: Wayfinder Armor Trim + Diamond Sword + Netherite Ingot
  • Stats: Range 500 (supports infinite) | Duration 30s | Cooldown 60s

Host Blade

  • Type: Support
  • Ability: Ability Mimic — Hit a player holding a trimmed sword, then activate to copy their ability
  • Effect: Stores the copied ability with an expiration timer; use it as your own
  • Visual: PORTAL and ENCHANT particles
  • Sound: Illusioner mirror move and beacon deactivation
  • Crafting: Host Armor Trim + Diamond Sword + Netherite Ingot
  • Stats: Duration 300s (5 min) | Cooldown 90s

Sentry Blade

  • Type: Controller
  • Ability: Summon Pillagers — Spawn AI-controlled pillager allies that follow and fight for you
  • Effect: 3 pillagers with smart AI (follows summoner, avoids friendly fire, repositions for clear shots, respects trust system)
  • Visual: RAID_OMEN, CLOUD, POOF, PORTAL particles
  • Sound: Raid horn and pillager ambient sounds
  • Crafting: Sentry Armor Trim + Diamond Sword + Netherite Ingot
  • Stats: Count 3 | Duration 30s | Cooldown 60s (starts after duration)

Vex Blade

  • Type: Controller
  • Ability: Summon Vexes — Spawn AI-controlled flying vex allies that follow and fight
  • Effect: 3 vexes with smart AI (similar to Sentry but airborne, respects trust system)
  • Visual: WITCH, PORTAL, SMOKE particles
  • Sound: Vex ambient, charge, and death sounds
  • Crafting: Vex Armor Trim + Diamond Sword + Netherite Ingot
  • Stats: Count 3 | Duration 30s | Cooldown 60s (starts after duration)

Wild Blade

  • Type: Sentinel
  • Passive: Regeneration I while holding the sword
  • Ability: Savage Roots — Create a vine trap zone that damages and slows enemies
  • Effect: Spawns VINE blocks in the target area, applies Slowness IV and continuous damage
  • Visual: FALLING_SPORE_BLOSSOM, SPORE_BLOSSOM_AIR, DAMAGE_INDICATOR, COMPOSTER particles
  • Sound: Roots breaking and grass breaking
  • Crafting: Wild Armor Trim + Diamond Sword + Netherite Ingot
  • Stats: Damage 1.0/s | Range 8 | Duration 10s | Cooldown 35s

Dune Blade

  • Type: Controller
  • Ability: Sandstorm Tornado — Create a massive funnel-shaped tornado (2.5 base radius, 6.0 top radius, 16 blocks tall)
  • Effect: Traps entities, spins them 3-5 rotations, launches outward. Applies Blindness and continuous damage.
  • Visual: BLOCK (Sand, Red Sand), CLOUD, SWEEP_ATTACK particles
  • Sound: Rain, elytra flying, and explosion sounds
  • Crafting: Dune Armor Trim + Diamond Sword + Netherite Ingot
  • Stats: Damage 1.0/s | Range 8 | Duration 30s | Cooldown 30s (starts after duration)

Shaper Blade

  • Type: Sentinel
  • Ability: Forge Armor — Requires armor equipped. Grants Resistance II, Absorption II, Fire Resistance
  • Effect: Reflects 25% of incoming damage back to attackers
  • Visual: FLAME, LAVA, ENCHANT, FIREWORK, SMOKE particles
  • Sound: Respawn anchor charge, totem use, beacon power select, fire extinguish
  • Crafting: Shaper Armor Trim + Diamond Sword + Netherite Ingot
  • Stats: Duration 180s | Cooldown 35s (starts after duration)

Silence Blade

  • Type: Initiator
  • Ability: Deadly Invisibility — Toggle complete invisibility (hidePlayer API + potion effect)
  • Effect: Hides player, armor, and held items. Grants Speed I. Mobs lose and cannot acquire target. Custom Bill Cipher-style death messages when killing while invisible.
  • Visual: None (stealth)
  • Sound: Phantom ambient, beacon activate/deactivate
  • Crafting: Silence Armor Trim + Diamond Sword + Netherite Ingot
  • Stats: Duration 300s (5 min) | Cooldown 90s (starts after duration)

Tide Blade

  • Type: Controller
  • Ability: Tsunami Wave — Send a 12-block wide water wave forward
  • Effect: Places actual WATER blocks that damage and knock back enemies, then cleans up automatically
  • Visual: SPLASH and BUBBLE particles
  • Sound: High-speed splash, bucket empty, rain
  • Crafting: Tide Armor Trim + Diamond Sword + Netherite Ingot
  • Stats: Damage 6.0 | Knockback 3 | Range 15 | Duration 10s | Cooldown 30s

Snout Blade

  • Type: Controller
  • Ability: Bastion's Fury — Spawn a massive blackstone arena with 12 pillars, connecting walls, and floor
  • Phase 1 (1s): Rising — Arena blocks emerge from the ground
  • Phase 2 (Active): Combat zone with beam damage and Strength III buff for the wielder
  • Phase 3 (1s): Sinking — Arena blocks retract and all originals are restored
  • Effect: Teleports nearby players inside the arena. Uses POLISHED_BLACKSTONE_BRICKS, GILDED_BLACKSTONE, BLACKSTONE, and BLACKSTONE_WALL materials.
  • Visual: DUST (gold/orange) and FLAME particles
  • Sound: Stone break, basalt break, ancient debris break, piglin ambient
  • Crafting: Snout Armor Trim + Diamond Sword + Netherite Ingot
  • Stats: Range 15 | Duration 30s | Cooldown 60s | Damage 2.0

Rib Blade

  • Type: Sentinel
  • Ability: Purely Passive (no active ability)
  • Passive Defense: Grants Resistance II for 10s when taking damage (1s internal cooldown between triggers)
  • Passive Offense: +30% damage multiplier on all attacks (1.3x)
  • Visual: CLOUD and DUST (white) particles
  • Sound: Skeleton hurt
  • Crafting: Rib Armor Trim + Diamond Sword + Netherite Ingot
  • Stats: Passive only | No cooldown

Eye Blade

  • Type: Initiator
  • Ability: Time Rewind — Records position history every 0.5s (up to 200s). Teleports player back in time.
  • Modes: "seconds" (rewind X seconds) or "blocks" (rewind X blocks of distance)
  • Effect: Strategic repositioning and escape tool
  • Visual: PORTAL, END_ROD, DUST (purple) particles
  • Sound: Enderman teleport, end portal frame fill, beacon activate
  • Crafting: Eye Armor Trim + Diamond Sword + Netherite Ingot
  • Stats: Range 20 | Duration 20s | Cooldown 45s

Spire Blade

  • Type: Controller
  • Ability: Void Collapse — Create a devastating gravitational singularity at a target location
  • Phase 1 (7s): Gravitational Pull — Pulls all untrusted entities toward center with exponential force, applies Slowness V and Mining Fatigue III, growing void sphere with particle rings, DOT 2 dmg/s
  • Phase 2 (3s): Void Crush — Teleports all affected entities to center, deals 12.0 crush damage, applies Wither II and Blindness II
  • Phase 3: Skyward Launch — Launches all crushed entities upward (3.0 velocity)
  • Visual: DUST (dark purple), END_ROD, DRAGON_BREATH, ELECTRIC_SPARK, PORTAL, EXPLOSION, CLOUD particles

Flow Blade

  • Type: Initiator
  • Ability: Wind Ride — Spawn an invisible WindCharge entity and ride it through the air
  • Controls: WASD movement via ProtocolLib, double-shift to dismount
  • Effect: Aerial mobility with knockback to nearby entities. Cloud particles underneath.
  • Visual: CLOUD, DUST (white/cyan), GUST, GUST_EMITTER_LARGE particles
  • Sound: Wind charge burst and breeze shoot
  • Crafting: Flow Armor Trim + Diamond Sword + Netherite Ingot
  • Stats: Duration 90s | Knockback 3 | Cooldown 30s

Bolt Blade

  • Type: Duelist
  • Passive: Client-side glowing effect on non-trusted players within range (via ProtocolLib)
  • Ability: Lightning Dash — Look at a target player and teleport to them with lightning strikes
  • Effect: Instant if in PvP or within 5 blocks; 3-second countdown otherwise. Lightning strikes at both locations.
  • Visual: ELECTRIC_SPARK, SOUL_FIRE_FLAME, FLASH particles
  • Sound: Lightning bolt thunder, impact, note block pling
  • Crafting: Bolt Armor Trim + Diamond Sword + Netherite Ingot

Dragon Egg Blade

  • Type: Duelist
  • Ability: SkyFall — Launch into the air and create a devastating explosion on landing
  • Effect: Launch upward (2.5 velocity), explosion scales with downward velocity. Compatible with elytra for extended flight.
  • Visual: CLOUD, EXPLOSION, FLAME, CRIT particles
  • Sound: Ender dragon flap and explosion
  • Bonus: Increases trimmed sword carry limit to 2 and provides 10% cooldown reduction to all blades
